Maris Martino, Front Street Intern

Maris is currently a Sophomore at the University of Florida and is majoring in Information Systems and minoring in Innovation. At the University of Florida, Maris is an Innovation Academy student. This past summer, he participated in a yearly competition called Catalyst, in which he and his team invented a way to better conserve wildlife in Florida. Maris is an active member of Pi Lambda Phi fraternity and hopes to be elected to a position of authority in the next couple years to help better his fraternity. He also plays a part in some of his fraternity’s intramural teams.

Maris was born in Nashville, Tennessee, but grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He played football for 13 years and even played for St Thomas Aquinas, a nationally-acclaimed team. Maris has two younger sisters, a dog, and two cats. Some of his hobbies include watching and playing various sports, working out, and spending quality time with family and friends. Maris always tries to put his best foot forward when a new opportunity or task is given, and he cannot wait to see what his future holds at Front Street and beyond.
