Cheryl Carroll, Director of Property Management

Cheryl is a top performing senior level executive with over 19 years of property management experience with an in-depth knowledge of all facets of residential and commercial operations.  She successfully served 3 years as the president for Gainesville Real Estate Management Company (“GREMCO”).  GREMCO served as the managing agent for 7 residential apartment communities encompassing 923 units and 30,000 square feet of commercial space with an aggregate value of $55 million.  Cheryl managed over 35 employees consisting of property managers, corporate-level employees and business development specialists.

Prior to this role, she served as the Director of Property Management under the leadership of Managing Director, Keith Crutcher. Cheryl held many roles within the industry, beginning as a leasing agent while studying Fashion Merchandising at Florida State University. Cheryl acquired her Florida real estate license in 2014 and she is currently obtaining a Florida broker’s license.

Cheryl learned early on that she was passionate about real estate mainly due to her father who had an extensive international business career focusing on property and infrastructure development, business improvement and regeneration.  Although she is a Florida native, Cheryl has lived in four different countries and learned to speak French and Spanish at a very early age.

Cheryl remains very involved within the community through various philanthropic efforts.  Most recently she served as the president of the North Central Florida Apartment Association from 2014-2016.  During her term as president, the NCFAA experienced record membership growth and attendance levels. She is a current Board of Director for the Florida Apartment Association and a graduate of their “Leadership Lyceum” program.  She has served on the legislative committee for several years and chairs the association’s benevolence committee. Through her leadership, she helped create the association’s “Charity Bowl” annual event that in 2016 was responsible for raising enough donations to supply 833 backpacks of food for area needy children. Cheryl’s rich diverse background and knowledge will serve as an asset to the Front Street team.
