You may have recently noticed racks of merchandise for a consignment sale, and after that you may see a Halloween store. The old Sticks ‘N Stuff building at 2305 NW 13th St. held a few temporary tenants in recent years, but redevelopment projects could create momentum that might bring a permanent tenant, according to Nick Banks, Front Street Commercial Real Estate Group’s managing director.
With the old Walmart location being renovated for a Burlington Coat Factory and Ross Dress for Less, and Verde Plaza getting a Lucky’s Market organic grocery store in its long-vacant anchor space, redevelopment is finally creating some much-needed momentum to help transform the Northwest 13th Street sub-market, Banks said. “We've had a decent amount of interest from users and developers, so we hope to announce something more permanent in the near future,” Banks said. “It’s such a good location with proximity to the University of Florida, downtown and housing... this area is primed for further growth and development.” Click here to see this listing.
