Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza opened its third location in Gainesville on Wednesday, replacing Beef ‘O’ Brady’s on the corner of University Ave and 13th St. Renovation started in the space before Piesanos' lease was signed in April. The restaurant needed a lot of work with the space being completely remodeled, but co-owner Joel Mills said the first wave of business has been “way better than expected.”
This location offers an expanded drink selection that includes 40 beer taps. The restaurant, to include a trendier vibe, will also feature music starting after 10 p.m. Piesanos will remain family-friendly at all hours. The restaurant hours will be Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Although Beef ‘O” Brady’s closed their location on 13th Street, their Archer Road location reopened under new owners a month ago. The reopening and new ownership followed a renovation. The restaurant closed on June 25 and reopened July 16 after Stacy and Mark Swain purchased the business. The two owners owned the Beef ‘O’ Brady’s in Chiefland for two years. The new ownership and renovation will make way for the restaurant to host community service nights for school and athletic groups.
We wish Piesanos the best of luck in their new location, and can't wait to stop by after the next gator game!
