Internet marketing company SharpSpring will be bought out by SMTP of Nashua, New Hampshire, for $5 million. The Gainesville-based SharpSpring will be moving into the newly renovated Firestone building along with its 25 employees.
Rick Carlson, SharpSpring's founder and president, believes the talent pool in Gainesville will help him expand the company to provide new marketing, technical account managing, programming and developing jobs. With this new deal, SharpSpring hopes to compete against some industry giants like Act-On and Marketo. We wish them the best of luck in their new location!
