Always do what you’ve always done?

You’ve heard the saying before: Always do what you’ve always done and you’ll always get what you’ve always got.

At Front Street, we’re excited to be a part of projects that are anything but what we’ve always done. Hopefully, you saw our last post about partnering with UF and JLL on Innovation Square, and what's next for Innovation Square. We’re honored to be part of an effort to change our area for the better and usher in a new era for 720 at Innovation Square.

We talk about game-changing a lot around here. More than a buzzword, game-changing is a concept that is quickly becoming a shared ethos for how we approach life, both business and personal. It goes without saying that game-changing is exactly how we’d describe the work being done at Innovation Square and exactly how we’re approaching our role in the development.

Innovation Square has enormous potential. UF knew that when the Florida Innovation Hub was just a concept. Now, it should be evident to everyone as vertical development continues to move forward and existing space is given new life. The potential positive effect on greater Gainesville is massive and will likely reach beyond the confines of Gainesville and Alachua County.

“It is University of Florida Development Corporation’s goal to have Innovation Square become one of the centers of business activity for Gainesville,” said Lee Nelson, director, Office of Real Estate, University of Florida, “More than that, transforming the area into a premier 24-hour new urbanist district with a myriad of employment, housing, and amenity options will create another lively environment for Gainesville.”

This project is transformational for our community, and as the local property management and leasing agent for 720 at Innovation Square, we have the opportunity to help companies to locate in a prime area, positioned to maximize public-private partnerships and to connect technology and research offerings from UF with the market.

Yes we do talk about game-changing a lot… but we also work hard to make game-changing plans a reality. Be a part of something big and help spread the word about this exciting project.
