A list of the most prominent regional fast food chains

Food no longer is limited by its roots. Sure, the first lobster roll may have originated in New England, but that no longer stands in the way of enjoying one in California! This nationalized food scene opens our horizons and taste buds to all that this yummy world has to offer, but there's still quite a few chains that have remained regional and have quite the loyal following... How many have you tried, and did your favorite make the list?

  • Waffle House
  • White Castle
  • Lou Malnati’s
  • Whataburger
  • Burgerville
  • Zaxbys
  • Biscuitville
  • The Varsity
  • Anthony's Coal Oven Pizza
