60th Annual BANCF Banquet

Front Street congratulates The Builders Association of North Central Florida (BANCF) on their successful 60th Annual Installation Banquet! BANCF is a regional professional and trade association representing the building industry. The Installation Banquet is a much-anticipated event for members and their guests to celebrate the association's past successes and look to the future.  This elegant soirée’ was held December 11th at the UF Hilton and Conference Center. The evening began with a cocktail hour and was then followed by a lovely plated steak dinner. 

Immediately following dinner, BANCF ceremonially proceeded with installing these new officers:

  • Brandon Tinckhman, of D. E. Scorpio Corporation, as president
  • Scott Buchanan, of AMJ Inc. of Gainesville, as president-elect
  • Rory Causseaux, of CHW, as associate vice president
  • Eric Drummond, of Charles Perry Partners Inc., as treasurer
  • Kim Wolfmeyer, of Advanst Technologies, as secretary

Additionally, the following people were honored with awards by the association:

  • Randi Elrad, Lori Willis, John Roscow, Scott Buchanan, Eric Drummond and Stuart Cullen all received individual President awards
  • CHW, a local engineering firm, received the award for Making a Difference Company
  • The Good Government award went to County Commissioner Lee Pinkoson
  • Lenny Sprague, of Leonard Sprague Construction, was presented the Big and New Spike of the Year award
  • Barry Rutenberg, of Barry Rutenberg and Associates, proudly accepted Retention Spike of the Year award
  • Ambassador of the Year  wet to Steve Burroughs, of Crime Prevention Security Systems
  • Distinguished Spike awards were bestowed to Barry Rutenberg and Vinnie Moreschi
  • Mark Hurm, of Mark Hurm and Company LLC, received the 2015 Chair of the Year award
  • A touching presentation of the very first George Barnes Spirit Award was given to the BACF veteran himself, George Barnes
  • 2015 Associate of the Year was awarded to Gerry Dedenbach, of CHW
  • Last but certainly not least, Vinnie Moreschi, of Charles Perry Partners Inc., enjoyed the privilege of receiving the 2015 Builder of the Year award

Completing the awards ceremony and the entirely meaningful event, guests enjoyed lively music, dancing and laughs! Front Street congratulates and thanks BACNF for their long-standing contributions and advocating productively for the building industry and our community. It was a fantastic evening with much to celebrate, we look forward to all that's to come in 2016!

Virginia MacKoul

Virginia is a graduate from the University of Florida's College of Design Construction and Planning with a degree in Sustainability and the Built Environment, and a minor in Urban Regional Planning. Virginia joined the Front Street team in 2011, as an intern. Upon graduation, Virginia joined the Front Street team full-time as the Director of Client Services. Ms. MacKoul’s addition furthers Front Street’s continued growth and expansion within Gainesville and other North Central Florida markets. She was promoted to Director of Marketing in 2014 and now manages the firm’s team of interns and oversees all marketing and branding activity. Virginia was born in Boston and moved to Lee County, Florida in 1997. Virginia graduated her high school's International Baccalaureate program and started at the University of Florida with a focus on Architecture. Virginia shares Front Street's passion of giving back to the community and those in need. Virginia's hobbies include photography, cooking, football, movies, music, and spending time with her dog, Brinkley.
