Public & General Opens in Gainesville

Gainesville seems to great fit for eclectic restaurants. Public & General has recently joined these ranks. Located in NorthGate Campus at 1000 NE 16th Ave, P&G  provides affordable, quality American-style food in an unique setting. Upon entering the building, the customer finds themselves in the “general” part of the building; a shop with meats, cheeses, and wines all available for purchase. There is a counter with a large chalkboard menu from which a customer can order, and then continue back to the “public” area of the premises which includes a bar as well as an outdoor dining area strung with lights. The menu boasts fried veggies, burgers, sandwiches, and beer. If you are in the mood to try one of Gainesville’s newest places for lunch or dinner, give Public and General a shot!
