October is Gainesville Entrepreneur Month!

Gainesville is fostering start-ups, small businesses, and entrepreneurs this month. Business workshops, discussions, and tours are to be held throughout October to help local businesses and potential businesses grow. Cox Communications is sponsoring the event and holding a pitch competition worth a grand prize of $5,000 and a year of Cox Business services.  “We're hoping to help put Gainesville on the map as a place to start and grow a business,” Maureen Tartaglione, of Cox Communications, said.
