Its no secret that companies like Apple and Amazon are huge fish a shrinking pond of technology and media content. While these two fish have played nicely for the most part for a while now, toes are beginning to be stepped on.
Amazon recently announced that they would no longer sell Apple media-streaming hardware if it were not easily integrated with its video-streaming service. Every large media-content provider is involved in a war battling for the consumers’ attention/wallet. It is becoming increasingly expensive to afford content from 4+ providers on top of an existing cable subscription just to access the content people want.
