ESPN recently announced the hyped SEC Network, a new multiplatform broadcast to bring the SEC to fans and followers alike. Cox has jumped on board and signed up as a SEC Network provider, bringing millions more viewers on scene. The two companies just signed an agreement to host, giving all subscribers general access from any tv or mobile device, as well as access to exclusive live events (to be scheduled).
The SEC Network is highly anticipated, and is set to launch on August 14th, 2014. The network is already set to host University of Florida football, soccer, and volleyball games throughout the coming seasons. The platform is a full ESPN suite, with 24/7 coverage and studio talk shows and analysis.
