We Are Neutral: Carbon Offsetting at the Local Level

While 80,000 fans will be enjoying the music of Bonnaroo, a Gainesville team of dedicated employees will be working to eliminate the festival’s massive carbon footprint.  The company We Are Neutral sent 18 people to help with this purpose and set up a booth in Planet Roo to help spread the word.  The We Are Neutral team is known as the Carbon Shredders at the festival. Their goal is to calculate the impact of Bonnaroo on the environment and create carbon credits to offset it.

We Are Neutral does must of it’s work from their Gainesville office. They are located on AW 4th Ave. in the Indigo Green building. The company tracks climate change at the local level while providing help to lower-income families to reduce their utility bills. Their mission is to “design and implement programs that promote social and environment resilience” with the tools of carbon offsetting.
