Biotech's enormous growth locally is put on display

Progress Park, now home to 35 companies with nearly 1,200 employees is just one example of how biotech is rapidly growing, especially here in our county. From small incubators, to Nasdaq, to Swiss acquisitions these biotech companies are experiencing rapid growth and success.

“I think that's really evidence of how the sector is maturing here and becoming much more important on a stage larger than just our local community,” Randy Scott said, a partner with HealthQuest Capital venture capital firm and former CEO of NovaMin Technologies. It's exciting to see such development of local companies, we couldn't be more thrilled with the successes so far and can't wait to see what's in store.
