Bringing in the Dough

Gainesville has a new bakery! Located at 627 N. Main Street, this Vine Bakery and Pasta exclusively serves organic bread and pasta produced from non-modified freshly milled flour. One thing separating Vine Bakery and Pasta from other bakeries is their use of natural leaven in their bread making process, adding flavorful health benefits. While many brag about their eclectic selection of bread, they are becoming equally known for their pastas. Serving fettuccini, ravioli, spaghetti, and other favorites, their consciously responsible ingredients have seemingly endless manifestations.

Truly a local phenomenon, Vine Bakery and Pasta was started by Gainesville residents Teresa Zokovitch and Dean Griebel with donation support from an Indiegogo campaign. After providing their creations at local farmers and establishments including Ward’s Supermarket, Tempeh Bistro To Go, Daily Green, Civilization, and The Wine and Cheese Gallery, they decided to open their own shop. The next time you’re in the mood for responsibly produced, organic, and healthy food, stop by Vine Bakery and Pasta – if you haven’t already!
