Bernice Boucher, lead of JLL’s workplace strategy practice with responsibility for the Americas recently wrote a commentary for GlobeSt. about the way workplace trends are "reshaping corporate cultures in 2014 and beyond". Trends included introduction of reality engines, a third workplace dimension, a return to privacy, compression of space per person, choice-driven performance and innovation, the end of command-and-control, innovation over isolation, a decrease in physical activity, a rise in intellectual spaces, ROI measured in real terms, a trend from big data to dark data, 'uber'-sustainability, a return to the city, and finally, intrapreneurial learning.
