As Campus USA's new CEO, Benton sees room for growth

Who better to replace Larry Scott as CEO than his chief of operations officer Jerry Benton. “As chief of operations since 1999, Benton is in charge of operations for branch locations and the call center. He oversaw the expansion from five locations, all in Gainesville, to 14 locations serving 12 counties.” Instead of the classic approach of ‘the customer is always right,’ Benton believes in employees first, adding that “if we take care of the employees, they take care of our members.”

Understanding that his involvement thus far has helped guide Campus USA to the growth and expansion they’re currently experiencing, Benton “doesn't foresee making any huge changes” as far as operations go, however, he does see potential for growth in Tallahassee and in The Villages.  With a great reputation, high level of ethics and a caring personality, we believe Benton will continue to be a great asset to Campus USA. We wish him the best of luck in his new position. Congratulations once again Jerry!
