United Way Second Annual Heart's Unite

United Way of North Central Florida held its second annual Heart’s Unite event yesterday.  The inaugural event last year had about 80 attendees but this year there were over 300 guests present to learn about United Way initiatives.  We heard heartwarming testimonies from speakers impacted personally by all United Way does in the community and learned about all the leveraged dollars United Way brings to Gainesville.

Debbie Mason, CEO and president of United Way of North Central Florida, gave an impassioned speech and call to action for us as a community to do more to tackle the challenges our community faces regarding education, income and health.

Front Street is proud to support United Way of North Central Florida and all its initiatives.  In addition to the financial support Front Street gives United Way, Nick Banks, managing director of Front Street, is a member of the board of directors and Seth Lane is a member of the Community Investment Team.

A big thanks to Home: Living In the Heart of Florida Magazine for the great pictures!
