Lucky’s Market Expands to Multiple Florida Locations

The day is soon approaching! Gainesville foodies can look forward to another great grocery shopping option. Lucky’s Market, a Colorado-based organic grocer, is planning several new locations in Florida.

Gainesville will be the first location set to open in Florida in January. Lucky’s Market will open in the former Pic ‘n Save store location, which is 30,000 square feet.

The grocer will offer a juice bar, an extensive beer and wine selection and a prepared foods section in the Gainesville location. Launched in 2003, Lucky’s Market has a little more than a dozen locations nationwide. The prepared foods section is one of the company’s fastest growing lines of business. Chefs Trish and Bo Sharon launched the company that specializes in organic, natural, gluten-free foods and antibiotic- and hormone-free meat and fresh seafood.
