The One World Trade Center recently began full operation with the publishing firm Condé Nast, leasing office space to 175 employees. This is great for the areas economic profile but also emotional for many New Yorkers and, more specifically, employees of the building.
One of the security guards at the One Trade Center explained how monumental it is that he will be protecting a piece of history. Condé Nast plans to have 3,400 employees in the building, which will encompass 1.2 million square feet. Currently, the building is a little more than 58 percent leased. The leasing price per square foot sits at $69 for the middle floors, a 10 percent decrease since May in order to increase the space leased.
