ICSC Florida Conference 2013

The Front Street team joined over 3,000 retail and real estate professionals in Orlando at the International Council of Shopping Centers Florida Conference on August 19.

The annual conference is a deal-making and learning opportunity for those in the real estate industry, and draws attendees from Florida and all over the country. With the retail and real estate industry steadily picking up over the past year, the conference was busier than it has been years.

"Everyone's really excited to get things done this year," Front Street Managing Director Nick Banks said. "In recent years, there wasn't as much excitement and there were less deals getting done. At this conference, you could really tell that everyone had a more positive outlook."

The excitement was truly felt in the exhibition hall, which featured developers, real estate brokerages, service providers and national and regional retailers. Throughout the expo hall, deals were discussed and educational sessions were held. In the #iTechLounge, Cohn Marketing Group gave short sessions about how real estate professionals could best use technology to reach their marketing goals.

This year's ICSC Florida Conference was a busy and productive one for Front Street. We're looking forward to seeing how the contacts we made and the deals that we discussed will come to fruition.
